I’ve had my site for a couple of years but i’ve never blogged about anything. So it’s kinda sad that the first thing I’m posting about is the passing of our dog Shy-ann. We got her 15 and a half years ago for Bellas 6th birthday. She was already a year and a half old and pretty well trained. She was a great dog with 13 squirrel kills under her belt and a few rabbits too. She didn’t bark or complain a lot. She was really laid back but over the years her health has been getting worse and worse. It was finally time to have her put down. Anyone whose had to do it will tell you it’s not an easy decision to make.She was mostly blind, had demensia, hips and liver were failing. We weren’t doing her any favors by keeping her alive with all the meds she was on.She had a great life and a good home. She will be missed.
