Spent A week in Paris and week in Belgium with Amy and Erik and had a great time. I enjoyed Paris, there was a lot to see and beautiful neighborhoods. Too many people though and nobody smiles over there. We rented a van and drove to Bruges Belgium. Stopped and saw the beaches of Dunkirk and that was pretty cool. Stayed at an old castle in Izegem, it was beautiful. Also went to Brussels, and Waterloo and Ghent. All were fantastic especially Bruges. It’s small and quaint, the people are friendly and most people spoke good english. I would love to live in Belgium its pretty relaxed over there compared to the states.
